This is a hands on class is for students who already have a blog.  If you need to create a blog, I have a resource that will get you started with a simple WordPress blog that we will further develop in class.  To get a blog, contact Dave Smith at Custom WordPress Site Design.  You will also need to have a domain name or at least start thinking about one and purchase it before Dave can finish your blog.  The good news is, by going this way you will save a lot of money, plus you will have the basic knowledge of how things work.

NOTE: There are two kinds of WordPress’ 1) located at WordPress.com is a free site.  It is very limited and NOT customizable.  I do not recommend using this site for business (it’s ok if you are just practicing).  Business people who are serious about creating a brand use 2) WordPress.org.  This WordPress is customizable, you can use plugins and widgets and most importantly, you will have your own Domain.
