Personalizing Google Maps to Illustrate Amenities

Google allows users to create and embed maps into your own website.  Using Google Maps is a great way to illustrate the many amenities in a neighborhood.

You can add customized icons with photos and link them to websites.  For instance when marketing a home all the external features can be added to a map, then the map code can be embedded on the brochure page you create on your site.

    Hi Kris!

I created this map – thanks to your help and I didn’t know if I should make it private or public.

Question, if I make it public, will others be able to change it or add to it. As I get additional data, such as pictures of the club houses, etc., I will go back and add more. I just wanted you to see that people are benefiting from your generous guidance, ;-)

I posted this on my blog. http://www.atlantarealestaterealeasy.blogspot.com.

BTW, I am still trying to improve my blog. I love your site, kristalsellsdenver.com! I know you’ve been working on it for a long time. Can’t figure out if it’s a site or a blog or a blending of both.

Can you shed some light on that?

    Thanks again.
