<p>Let&#8217;s face it, sometimes social media connections aren&#8217;t forever.  Life changes and at times we would prefer not to let someone we are no longer &#8220;connected&#8221; to be privy to our information.</p>
<p>When this happens it&#8217;s easy enough to go into the social media sites and disconnect!  It does take some looking around though.  Connecting tends to be so much easier than disconnecting.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a short tutorial on how to block a connection in LinkedIn.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.kristalks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Removeconnections2.png"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-363" title="Demo - removing LinkedIn connections" src="http://www.kristalks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Removeconnections2.png" alt="" width="493" height="279" /></a></p>
<p>Navigate via &#8220;Contact&#8221;  Tab on the bar, when the LinkedIn Contact page opens there is a Tab names &#8220;Remove Connections&#8221; to the far right.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.kristalks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/removeconnectionsLinkedin1.png"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-366" title="Demonstration for removing a connection on LinkedIn" src="http://www.kristalks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/removeconnectionsLinkedin1.png" alt="" width="459" height="523" /></a><br />On the &#8220;Remove Connections&#8221; page a pick box will pop up showing all your connections.  At this point &#8220;check&#8221; the box of the connection to be removed.  Click on &#8220;Remove Connections&#8221;</p>
<p>You are done!</p>
